The Salty And Sustainable Standard: The Bluebird Market

Our newest market- The Bluebird Garage Market is a Muizenberg gem. This indoor market tucked away in the neighbourhood in a colourful garage with a warm and welcoming feel is a fantastic spot to spend a Thursday or Friday evening at. Its open from 4pm to 10pm and is bound to have something for you.

.

We are in week 5 of popping up at this epic little local hub and i'm really enjoying myself. I thought- there is no better way than to get your brand out to your new community than at grassroots level- the local market. Its been fun, we've met some wonderful people and we love sharing the Salty C stoke.

The market is an eclectic mix of delicious food and sweet treats- boasting a wide range of international cuisines and catering to all needs- those vegan ones too. There are a few selected goods vendors from jewellery to us-swimwear and beachwear, to vintage clothing, shoes and much more, a vibey bicycle bar and an ambient speakeasy crafting top notch cocktails hidden in the garage and open till late. It’s kid friendly with a nice play area and its the perfect size creating an unmatched vibe. Its small, cosy and intimate while at the same time you feel like you have huge choice. We will be bouncing around spots for a while and we really hope to see you there. It’s a super nice weekday treat. An activity that is easy, isn’t a huge commitment or going to dominate your weekend but really sets you up for the weekend vibe!

There is a great mix of locals and tourists, long standing vendors as well as fresh new vendors often! Pop down tonight and come and find Salty C. 39 Albertyn Rd, Muizenberg, Cape Town, 7945.

Oh yes, and our favourite part of the market?? The fact that they have a rule allowing only recyclable packaging! Most food vendors use actual crockery that they wash-its cool.
